Beautifully carved from from Ghanaian cedar wood , the drums are double roped with a tight goatskin drum head. They have their own unique design - no typical Ghanaian carvings or animals - and they have thick double roped cord to hold skin and rings tight.

But these djembe drums are all about the sound! They have a room shuddering, punishing bass sound and also fantastic high end notes. Mensah drums also hold their sound a lot longer than most djembe drums, meaning that they need less tuning.
