Superbly crafted, high quality hand carved djembe drum from Accra, Ghana. Dimensions : 12.5" goatskin raised playing area x 24" cedar wood shell. This drum produces a superb resonant bass sound with great sharp slap and tone. I have tuned it myself with Mali weaving and there is extra rope for further adjustments if need be.... This is not a tourist drum you see on Ebay, this is meant to be played. Drum is beautifully finished with village huts and jungle carving around the shell.
