Superbly crafted, high quality hand carved djembe drum from Accra, Ghana. Dimensions : 11" goatskin raised playing area x 23" cedar wood shell. This drum produces a superb resonant bass sound with great sharp slap and tone. I have tuned it myself with Mali weaving and there is extra rope for further adjustments if need be.... Drum is beautifully finished with pelican and map of Africa on either side of the shell.
